This project was started by Bobbi Hepper Olson, since she only lived down the block from this building in Buxton.  After driving by it for several years she decided to get involved to restore the project in 2005.  As an architect she documented the building and prepared drawings and cost estimates for renovation and started grant writing and fundraising.  She added an addition to the back for office space and the original bank building will be utilized for public conferences and as a local history library.
